Elton John has revealed the first french dates for his long-awaited Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. The first 76 dates immediately sold out, suggesting that this farewell tour will be among the most popular, if not the most important, musical events of the next three years.
"I want to thank my great fans for their continued support throughout my career, and especially their concern to be there to celebrate my last tour: Farewell Yellow Brick Road," said Elton John. “I can't wait for the tour to start to see everyone on the road. "
The Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour started in the United States last month. It will include more than 300 shows across five continents, passing through North America, Europe, Asia, South America and Australia before ending in 2021. These dates mark the very last superstar tour and the end of half a century on the road for one of the most enduring artists of Pop. Elton's new production will take his fans on a very visual musical adventure spanning 50 years of an incomparable career teeming with hits.
