Paul McCartney - Freshen Up
In concert on May 23 in Lille, May 26 in Paris, May 31 in Bordeaux and June 7, 2020 in Lyon
Paul McCartney will perform in France on May 23 at the Pierre-Mauroy stadium in Lille, May 26 at Paris La Défense Arena, May 31 at the Matmut Atlantique stadium in Bordeaux and June 7, 2020 at the Groupama stadium in Lyon.
The former bass player and singer of the Beatles will move to Lille, Paris, Bordeaux and Lyon. It is an extension of the tour started following the release of his 17th album, “Egypt Station” in 2018. It was more than 30 years since Paul McCartney had not notably performed in Lille.
He had already gone up on a parisian scene recently, almost a year ago, on November 28, 2018, at Paris La Défense Arena.
It was already on the occasion of his "Freshen Up Tour" which followed the release of his excellent last album "Egypt Station".
Egypt Station is also the name of a painting by McCartney, produced in 1988; the cover of the album is inspired by it. The album was a great success when it was released, becoming the artist's first record to reach the American charts since Tug of War in 1982.
