Sting - The Last Ship
In concert from February 18 to March 6, 2026, at La Seine Musicale
The musical show written, composed, and performed by the legendary Sting will be presented for the first time in France at LA SEINE MUSICALE from February 18, 2026, to March 6, 2026.
Drawing inspiration from his own childhood and drawing on his musical roots, Sting tells the moving story of a community of shipbuilders in the northeast of England, faced with the closure of their shipyard. Taking on the role of Jackie White in this very personal show, the artist immerses us in a world where love, loss, and hope intertwine.
"The Last Ship" is a true musical odyssey carried by powerful and moving melodies and lyrics.
The album, like the musical, pays homage to the historic Newcastle shipyards where Sting grew up.
Following the resounding success of the album released in 2013, which went platinum in France, this iconic work will be brought to life on stage at La Seine Musicale with a spectacular full production, featuring a company of 28 artists, musicians, and choristers.
Sting has sold nearly 100 million albums and won 17 Grammys and 3 Brit Awards.
He has also ventured into film, having appeared in more than 15 films, such as "Quadrophenia" (1979) and "Bring on the Night" (1984).
He starred in one of France's highest-grossing films, "Kaamelott".
In France, as a solo artist, Sting has sold more than 4 million albums. Deeply attached to France and its culture, Sting was awarded the title of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres.
Don't miss this exceptional opportunity to experience an unforgettable musical adventure!
Tickets are available to the public starting June 11th at the usual points of sale.
